Hook & Loop Self-Adhesive Fastener

Description

Hook & Loop is a self-adhesive fastening system made up of two components: hooks (the rough, scratchy side) and loops (the softer, fuzzy side). These components interlock when pressed together, creating a strong, temporary bond that can be separated and reattached many times.

The self-adhesive part means that the hook and loop materials have a sticky backing, usually covered with a protective layer, which can be peeled off to stick the material onto surfaces like walls, fabrics, or other objects without the need for sewing, nails, or additional glue. This makes it very versatile for tasks such as attaching objects, organizing cables, or securing items in place.

Hook & Loop is also sometimes know as velcro, this is because Velcro is a well-known brand of hook and loop fasteners.
