Acrylic Foam Tapes

Double sided acrylic foam tapes combine a resilient foam core with high-performance acrylic adhesives, delivering a versatile bonding solution for demanding applications. The most well-known acrylic foam tapes on the market are 3M™’s VHB™ series which is a flexible and convenient solution for high-intensity environments that require a permanent fastening.

A standard double sided foam tape is constructed like a sandwich with a layer of foam in between thin layers of adhesive on either side, whereas an acrylic foam tape is made entirely of extruded, foamed adhesive to create a single cohesive mass. This provides a much stronger bond than regular foam tapes whilst being easier to apply than two-part structural adhesives.
