Hot Melt Adhesives
Hot melt adhesive is a polymer-based glue that is applied in a molten state. These glues are typically applied using an industrial glue gun, where the glue is heated up and then dispensed through a trigger action. The two wetted surfaces will then be bonded together once the glue begins to cool down. Making it ideal for bonding difficult surfaces and being used to fill gaps.
Hot melt glues are popular as they are fast-acting, safe to use and environmentally friendly suitable for applications such as packaging, bookbinding, carton-making, graphic arts, tapes and labels, product assembly and in the automotive industry.
