3M™ VHB™ LSE Series is a white double coated acrylic foam tape designed for low surface energy (LSE) bonding and delivers durable results where other bonding solutions need additional support or special surface treatment. It offers a superior bonding performance without primer on difficult to bond substrates such as PP, TPO, TPE, and composite materials. Available in three different thicknesses with a 3M branded red siliconised polyethylene film.

The LSE Series offers a modified acrylic adhesive on both sides of a conformable foam core. It can replace rivets, welds and screws as well as other forms of mechanical fasteners. By eliminating the need for priming in your production, the LSE Series increases productivity and reduces the use of harmful chemicals in your facilities. Excellent durability including its wide temperature resistance ensure ultimate performance strength and reliability for in- and outdoor applications. The fast and easy to use permanent bonding method provides high strength and offers design flexibility with its viscoelasticity, making it an ideal fit for multi material bonding due to his properties on thermal expansion.

The LSE Series is designed for multi material bonding as it offers versatile performance at various temperatures on MSE and LSE surfaces that allows for thermal expansion when bonding dissimilar materials. The temperature resistance of +100 °C in long term and +150 °C in short term bonding results in an excellent durability both, indoors and outdoors across a wide range of applications and industries. It further provides high initial tack at low temperatures on frost free surfaces down to 0 °C.
