Lay Flat Polythene Tubing

Lay Flat Polythene Tubing is a continuous clear polythene tube wound onto a roll which is used throughout numerous industries for a host of applications. Lay flat tubing is available in a selection of widths and thicknesses, each suitable for sealing with either a heat sealer, ties, staples or tape. Depending on what you are looking to wrap, the lay flat tubing is available in different thicknesses, most commonly:

• Medium duty (250 gauge / 62.5 micron) lay flat tubing is best suited to lighter weight use, for example, to create custom sizes polythene bags for clothing, linens, posters and stationery. It is most commonly used in warehouses and packing departments to produce custom sized plastic bags. Approximately 328 metres per roll.
• Heavy duty (500 gauge / 125 micron) lay flat tubing is suited when a higher puncture resistance is required. Widely used for packing carpets and rugs, heavy duty lay flat tubing can be used to create custom sized poly bags to protect awkward shaped and heavy items from dust, dirt and moisture. Rolls over 100 micron are also suitable for heat shrink which acts as an insulation to insulate and preserve products. Approximately 164 metres per roll.
